If you want a wedding venue where your imagination can run wild with possibilities, Mission Inn is the place for you! With three separate locations on property, your options are almost endless for what features you can add to your wedding. Want to make your arrival by helicopter? No problem! Want to parasail into the marina for your ceremony? You got it! Make your grand exit by seaplane at the end of the evening? Whatever you want! The incomparable staff will do everything they can to accommodate your every wish!
The first of the three distinct locations on the property is the Inn itself. Featuring the Old Florida, Spanish-inspired aesthetic, the Inn is a masterpiece of landscaping and statuary. The main ceremony site can fit 300 of your closest friends and family, and looks out over the beautiful grounds and lake that are the focal point of the grounds. A beautiful courtyard is perfect for cocktail hour (or an intimate ceremony location for up to 60!), and the ballroom & restaurant will cater perfectly to the reception of your dreams. The Inn includes white garden chairs and linens in your package, with Chiavari chairs available as an upgrade. Less vendors required, what could be easier?!
The second space is the Marina, and this is where your imagination really kicks into high gear. This is our favorite space on the property, as it is so wide open and full of possibilities, yet is still beautifully framed by nature on all sides. Boats, seaplanes and helicopters are all easily done in this space, so dramatic entrances or exits are a cinch!
The open grass area looks onto the lake, which peeks out at you through a curtain of old growth oak trees dripping with Spanish moss. This location is like a blank canvas, ready to host the wedding that your imagination will paint into existence. Even the largest # of guests can be accommodated in this wide-open space, and there is an indoor area adjacent to the lawn that provides air-conditioning if needed as a break space or set-up area. The space has a large fire pit, making s'mores a great option for dessert. Restrooms are just off the parking lot area for easy access to all your guests. Couples may want to consider budgeting for a tent, in order to take away any worries about weather and assure comfort for your guests.
The final area of the property is the golf course itself, which possesses an idyllic garden-party feel for its ceremony location. The intimate site has a beautiful three-tier fountain, framed by majestic oak trees, which overlooks the lake and the Inn in the background.
After the vows are said, the adjacent patio is perfect for cocktail hour and comes complete with market lighting and festively lit trees, plus a fire pit perfect for creating ambiance. The reception space is carpeted and air-conditioned, and as the rental of this location does not include furniture, you can create exactly the look you are envisioning (farm tables, squares, etc) for your party! This location maxes out at 140 people, so it offers the most intimate setting of them all. You can also choose to do plated meal, buffet style or food stations for your catering, so the possibilities are endless!
