We are incredibly grateful to see our wonderful industry slowly getting back to normal. We love serving our clients and working with the amazing vendors and friends that make Orlando the best wedding town in the world!
Today we are looking back at our last wedding before COVID changed everything. MaKenna and Nick were married at the fabulous Highland Manor in Apopka on a fantastic late March day!
It was a fantastic March day, but as March sometimes does in Florida, rain showers were in the area. While MaKenna got ready in the fabulous bridal suite on the second floor of the historic Manor, Bonny kept a watch on the skies to make sure the rain would be cooperating for the big day. The signature feature of the property, the gorgeous oak tree next to the manor house, acts as the focal point for the ceremony and can also shield you and your guests from direct sunlight and light rain, so it is the perfect setting for saying your vows.
As it turns out, there was no reason to worry, as mother nature had no plans to rain on MaKenna and Nick's parade on this day! The weather stayed perfectly dry and the wedding was fantastic from beginning to end.
Bonny says her favorite part of the day, as it usually is, was seeing how happy MaKenna and Nick were when they saw the reception space in the ballroom for the first time. We love the look of surprise and awe our clients often get during the room reveal when they can be alone with each other in the space for a few moments before the party begins.
